Improvement Projects
$3 million
from the Proposition K bond that passed on the March 2002 ballot has been
designated for site improvements at the nine school sites that are not
eligible for modernization funding through the current State School Facilities
Program; either because they do not meet the state's age requirements
or they have exhausted their eligibility through the state's prior Lease-Purchase
Program. Funding for each of the nine sites is based on a per square foot
calculation with set floor and ceiling funding amounts. The projects vary
by school site but will be determined through the district wide needs
analysis performed in 1999 as well as updated input from each school site.
The table below details the schools to be improved as well as the dollar
