.Mac OS X Applications - .Mac

 

 

.Mac is a slick web-based subscription that provides web-based storage and integrates with a variety of OSX applications.

.Mac provides

  • 1GB of storage on the web for documents, web sites, movies, and photos
  • a built-in connection to iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, and iWeb so that web-pages can go up almost instantly
  • easy, form-based web pages with HomePage
  • extra software such as a year's subscription to Backup & VersionTracker, GarageBand Jam Pack loop samplers, .Mac images for iChat, and easy access to Apple updates.
  • an email account with 5 additional "alias" accounts.
  • access to using iChat for chatting with audio and video
  • syncing between several computers
  • posting of iCal calendars
  • posting of other .Mac savy applications such as Comic Life
