The ETT Lessons are computer-based activities and projects created
by teachers under the guidance of ETTs for students in grades
K-8. Lessons use Kid Pix Studio Deluxe (K-2), HyperStudio 4 (3-8)*,
AppleWorks 6 (K-8), iMovie (K-8)*, and/or the Internet (K-8).
The lessons are available on the server of each school in EUSD
as well as on the Internet for preview or use.
Lessons can be downloaded from the Internet and previewed on any
computer that has Adobe
Reader. Files can be opened with a
Mac or PC assuming the required software is installed. You
will also need Stuffit Expander when downloading from the Internet.
Each
lesson includes a Teachers Guide and step-by-step Student
Instructions. The Teacher's Guide includes an overview, standards
addressed, vocabulary, technology skills addressed, materials needed,
and a summary of the lesson's steps. Many lessons also include such
items as a template, links page, and worksheets.
Lesson filenames use the following conventions (example given for
a third grade lesson):
3BookCubes_TG.cwk (teachers guide)
3BookCubes_S_Inst.cwk (student instructions)
3BookCubes_ws.cwk (student worksheet)
3BookCubes_Links.cwk (hotlist of links)
3BookCubes_Temp.cwk (student template)
3BookCubes_Sample.cwk
(sample of finished product)
