The mission of the Escondido Elementary School Nurses is "to promote the health and well-being of our students. This will be accomplished by direct nursing service to students including physical assessments and screenings, development of appropriate individualized educational programs, training and supervision of health care assistants including health technicians, education of students and staff about health related matters, collaboration with parents and appropriate community resources and the implementation of health care policies and procedures".
