REGISTRATION FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  As you decide upon the varied professional development activities in which you would like to participate, simply register by using the Electric Registrar (ERO) system.  A step-by-step process can be found by clicking on the additional resources website links found at the bottom of the page.  If you do not have a PIN number through the SEMS system for substitute purposes, you will need to do so before being able to register for staff development workshops.  You can obtain your SEMS PIN number by calling the (SEMS) substitute recording at 747-2402.  They will assign you a SEMS number.  After obtaining your SEMS number, call the Staff Development Department on extension #386 so we can put your PIN number in the ERO system.  If you have any problems, don’t hesitate to call the Staff Development Department on #386.

Participants must register for workshops at least 7 days prior to the workshop to ensure time for confirmation with presenters, and time to prepare materials, special orders, etc.  If you have difficulty registering before the registration cut-off period (7 days), call our office and we will be happy to assist you.  Please note some workshops are limited and participants are registered on a first-call, first-serve basis.  If a workshop is full, participants will be placed on an online waiting list and will be notified by the system through email.  If participants are unable to attend a workshop, it is the individual’s responsibility to drop the workshop by using the ERO system.  If you have any questions, or need assistance, please call the Staff Development Department on #386.

• Access ERO system on line
• When home page appears, click on Course Catalog
• ·Go to Curriculum Window and  click on Search
• Entire Curriculum Catalog will appear
• Scroll to Curriculum Area you want to view
• Click on Workshop Title
• Click on Register
• System will confirm registration is successf
